I believe there would be multitude of people in our communities that would give there lives to Jesus, become Christian's and live for the Him, if they saw the entire picture of salvation. But so often they see and are told of a few bad things about the church, and therefore they let that hinder them. They are not seeing the complete picture. I have learned that no matter what you do in this life, there will always be some bad things if you look hard enough. If we go around seeing only the bad, we would never do anything. For instance, there would be no children ever born if only the pain of childbirth was seen. But sadly people do not see the great things of salvation, they are only seeing things that appear to be bad. Christianity is like the story of Grandma baking a cake. She asks her grandson if he would like a snack, which of course, he does. "Here, have some cooking oil."

"Yuck," says the boy.

"How about a couple raw eggs?"

"Gross, Grandma!"

"Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?"

"Grandma, those are all yucky!"

"Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves, but when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake!"
